Product description Ecodis Anaé by Menstrual Panties for Heavy Periods - Black XL - Made from Certified Organic Cotton

Sewn in Europe by skilled Portuguese hands and made from comfortable certified organic cotton. These are the washable Anaé by Ecodis menstrual panties, which allow you to experience your period naturally, in complete comfort, and with the good feeling that you're giving gentle care to yourself and the planet.

They fully replace disposable pads and tampons. Menstrual panties are wonderfully breathable, give you a sense of security even during heavy periods, comfortably adapt to your curves, and no one will notice that you're not wearing regular underwear.

The manufacturers designed the panties so that the pad is invisible from the outside. The absorbent part contains Tencel, a natural fibre that is durable, very soft, quick-drying, and extremely absorbent. A waterproof PUL-based fabric keeps the liquid where it should be, and the outer layer of organic cotton provides ultimate comfort. Menstrual panties have a classic (basic) cut with a medium-high waist.

Heavy periods can be exhausting – both physically and mentally. It is precisely on such days that you deserve support you can truly rely on, without having to constantly think about whether everything is under control. Ecodis Anaé by menstrual panties for heavy periods in black, size XL, are designed for moments when you need higher absorbency, greater confidence, and a pleasant feeling against your skin. The panty cut looks like classic underwear, but thanks to its functional layers, it provides protection that will help you get through even more demanding days with greater peace of mind. Certified organic cotton is gentle on the skin and provides a pleasant, "soft" contact, which is often priceless during menstruation. The black colour also looks discreet and elegant – and you can feel well-groomed even on days when you'd rather stay under a blanket. The feeling of relief when you can take a breath and know you're protected is truly powerful.

To select the right size, we recommend measuring yourself thoroughly and comparing with the table below.

How to choose the right size:

Waist cm: S - 65 / M - 70 / L - 75 / XL - 80 / XXL - 85

Hips cm: S - 88 / M - 93 / L - 98 / XL - 103 / XXL - 108

Usage:

Put the panties on like regular underwear and use them on days with heavy bleeding, or at night or during longer trips when you don't want to deal with frequent changes. The wearing time may vary depending on the intensity of your period, the type of activity, and personal comfort – if you feel damp or want a "fresh start", simply change them. For some women, they are ideal as the main protection during really heavy days, while others like to combine them with a cup or tampon for extra security, for example during long shifts or journeys. After use, I recommend first rinsing the panties in cold water until the water runs clear, and then washing them on a gentle cycle (typically 30–40 °C) with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener, which can reduce the effectiveness of the absorbent layers, and do not tumble dry – air drying is best. Once you establish a simple care routine, you'll have a reliable companion that won't let you down even on the most demanding days.

  • Before first use, wash the menstrual panties by hand or in a washing machine at 30 degrees
  • After each use, soak for a maximum of 30 minutes in cold water
  • Then wash by hand or in a washing machine at 30 degrees with an ecological detergent
  • Do not use fabric softener or stain remover
  • Do not dry the panties in a tumble dryer or on a radiator and do not iron them
  • Heat can damage the technical fabric
  • Air dry and reuse.

Packaging:

The product is supplied as 1 pair of menstrual panties in black, size XL. The practical packaging is suitable for storage at home and for carrying if you take the panties to work, to visit someone, or on a trip. Size XL is designed for comfortable wearing and a feeling of freedom without unnecessary digging in – which makes a huge difference during menstruation. The black colour is also very versatile: it looks discreet, elegant, and gives you confidence even when you're not feeling your best. If you often change panties away from home, it may be useful to add a waterproof bag for used underwear to your kit, so everything is handled discreetly and hygienically. It's nice to know that even a practical aid can look good and at the same time bring you much-needed peace of mind.

Additional info:

Menstrual panties are a great choice if you want to reduce the amount of disposable products while enjoying comfort that respects your body. The heavy period variant is popular not only for the heaviest days of the cycle but also for nighttime – that's when you'll appreciate the feeling of security when you don't want to wake up for checks. Every cycle is different, though, and it's perfectly fine to find your ideal way of using them: sometimes they'll suit you on their own, other times in combination with additional protection. Proper care is also important – gentle washing without fabric softener and air drying help maintain functionality and shape. If you're new to menstrual panties, I recommend trying them first in a calmer setting during the first cycle so you gain confidence in when it feels best to change them. When you feel safe and comfortable, even heavy days can be managed with greater ease and kindness to yourself.
